Congratulations—you’re one step closer to becoming an Alignable Ambassador! Now that your application has been approved, you might be wondering what’s next. What steps do you need to take to move forward in the process?

Worry not—simply follow the checklist below. Once you complete all of the steps, you’ll be on your way to becoming an Alignable Ambassador and helping your local business community succeed. 

Before you begin

In order to participate in the program, you must be a Premium Alignable member. If you’re not yet a Premium member, you can learn more about the benefits and get started here.

Step 1: Complete the Alignable Ambassador online course

The first step is to complete the Alignable Ambassador course, which consists of a series of short online recorded sessions to make sure you’re up to speed in all the areas your local network may need your help with. Be sure to sign up for the course using the same email address as you used to apply.

You can take the course at your own pace, completing one session at a time until you finish them all. There will be a quiz at the end of each module, so take good notes as you go.

Step 2: Plan, promote, and host your first event

Once you’re done with the course, it’s time to jump in! The next step is to hold your own event. You’ll pick a date and time, plan the theme, set it up, and spread the word. The Alignable Events tool makes it easy. We’ll help, too, by ensuring that as many members as possible know about and attend your event. 

As part of this step, you’ll be invited to weekly meetings with Sue Brooke, networking and Alignable guru. In those meetings, you’ll have the chance to ask Sue and other members questions, share ideas, and collaborate, so your event is the best it can be.

Once you get to this step, we’ll send over more detailed instructions and tips to help your event go off without a hitch.

Step 3: Collect feedback on your event

Before your event ends or immediately after, you’ll want to send out a quick survey to attendees to see how you did. Hosting a virtual event? You can include the link to the survey directly in the chat so attendees can fill it out when it’s still top of mind.

We’ll even send you the survey so the feedback process is easy. 

Step 4: Hang tight! We’ll review your progress and be in touch

After your event feedback surveys are submitted, you’re all set. We’ll review the feedback and your course completion and will let you know if you’re moving forward.
